Tesla slashes price on Model Y in China

US-based EV maker Tesla said on Monday that the starting price of the Model Y Long Range version in China has been down to 299,900 yuan (US$41,318.78) from 313,900 yuan and the Performance version from 363,900 yuan to 349,900 yuan. Meanwhile, a limited-time insurance subsidy of 8,000 yuan for in-stock Model 3 vehicles has been introduced.
