A securities analyst said on Tuesday on its social media account that Huawei and JAC Motors are collaborating to develop a new Wenjie MPV, with an expected price of 1 million yuan. The EV is expected to start mass production in Q2 next year, with a sales target of 50,000 units within a year after its release.
JAC Motors responded later that the company has never heard of such a plan before.
