GIMC, China's first listed advertising group, has become the official agent of Meta in China. Over the six trading days since the announcement on July 13, GIMC has risen 42 percent.
GIMC specializes in digital marketing, which accounts for nearly 80 percent of its total revenue. Over 20 percent of revenue came from overseas in 2022, though GIMC's gross profit margin was only 0.63 percent
In 2022, the company became a "premium partner" of Meta at the beginning of this year.
Besides collaborating with Meta, GIMC also handles TikTok, Dongfeng Nissan, and others and is set to integrate with Baidu's Ernie bot.
