The National Development and Reform Commission (NRDC) has released two documents aimed at stimulating consumer spending.
Among the measures proposed in one document are new ideas on vehicle purchases, supporting the replacement of old vehicles with new ones, and the development of the second-hand car market.
The plan also recognizes the need for better EV infrastructure, improvements to rural power supplies, and easier EV purchases.
EVs will be top of the list in the public sector, and new financial services will focus on new-energy vehicles. Parking problems and congestion are highlighted.
The second document focuses on electronic products in rural areas along with resale and recycling.
At a news conference on Friday, the NDRC's CHANG Tiewei, said that recovery in electronic products had been slow due to unstable income expectations and disruptions in global supply chains.
