CATL's new product can charge for 10 minutes and run for 400 kilometers, only slightly slower than refueling, said WU Kai, chief scientist of CATL, at the 2023 China Auto Forum on Thursday.
The battery is expected to be released before the end of this year. In the future, CATL's R&D aims to achieve a charging time of 5 to 7 minutes for a 400-kilometer range.
