The sixth World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) is scheduled for July 6 - 8 at Shanghai Expo Center and preparations are in the final stages.
WAIC 2023 will focus on technology, industry, and humanity, and will be attended by leading academics from Peking and Tsinghua universities and executives from companies including Alibaba, Huawei and Microsoft.
This year’s conference will be the largest in the history of WAIC, covering an area of 50,000 square meters and featuring nearly 500 exhibitors and 30 new products ranging from foundation models and chips to robots and electric vehicles. Negotiation will enable buyers to finalize deals in smart finance, carbon neutrality, and the metaverse.
For five years, WAIC has been a big part of the AI industry in Shanghai. It has contributed to more than 200 programs with a total investment of nearly US$1 billion.
