Voyah, an EV maker owned by state-owned Dongfeng Motor Corporation, said on Monday that general sales manager YU Fei had left the company.
Voyah was founded in 2018. Last year, sales reached 19,400 units, a long way short of its own target. EV startups Nio, XPeng and Li Auto each sold more than 120,000 EVs.
Voyah has gone through several management changes, but sales have not improved. In Q1, Voyah sold 5,000 EVs, up 53. 9 percent year on year, but aimed to sell 70,000 this year. Based on its Q1 performance, the target is far out of reach.
