On May 10, Century Sage Scientific (CSS) Group announced that it intends to change its name to “Be Friends Holding Limited,” following the acquisition of the Be Friends Group. This means that Be Friends’ assets have now been injected into the listed company, completing a backdoor listing.
Be Friends is an e-commerce livestreaming agency founded by serial entrepreneur and influencer LUO Yonghao in April 2020. Since November 2022, CSS Group has managed all Be Friends’ Douyin accounts.
CSS Group is a media enterprise in software and hardware, sports broadcasting and R&D.
In the three years since Be Friends was founded, it has secured its place in the top-tier Douyin e-commerce and expanded to overseas markets. Today, it is a significant player in the MCN field.
