Huawei is to release the P60 and Mate X3 this month. The company made the announcement Monday in response to rumors that the phone-making business is to be sold to Honor, a Huawei spinoff that the company sold in 2020.
Huawei said that much rather than getting rid of the phone until it plans to invest more.
In the first six months of 2022, revenue from phones was 101 billion yuan (US$15 billion), down more than a quarter year on year.
