Huawei has suspended the chief operating officer of its auto business unit WANG Jun, who is also the president of the company’s smart car solution products, local media thepaper reported Thursday. CEO of the auto BU YU Chengdong will be taking over. Sources said while Wang is suspended, R&D of the “Huawei Inside” autonomous driving technology will carry on.
Since 2021, eight senior executives of Huawei’s auto BU had left the company.
