The purchasing managers' index (PMI) for China's manufacturing sector came in at 50.1 in January, above the 50-point threshold separating growth from contraction, up from 47 in December 2022, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Tuesday.
China’s non-manufacturing PMI, comprising the services, catering and construction sectors, rose to 54.4 in January from 41.6 in December.
