BYD says its 2022 income rose as high as US2.5 billion

Chinese automaker BYD said on Monday that its net income in 2022 reached as high as 17 billion yuan (US$2.5 billion), up by as much as 458 percent from 2021, a much better performance than analysts’ predictions. BYD became the No.1 EV seller worldwide last year.
