E-commerce platform Pingduoduo is going to launch cross-border business in the United States this September, according to reports of LatePost.
According to an investment guide to Pingduoduo’s cross-border business, traders who join Pingduoduo’s overseas voyage won’t have to pay initial fees or commission, but Pingduoduo will be in charge of selection, pricing of products and logistics.
Pingduoduo deals in everything from digital gadgets to pet food, and expects suppliers to have stable production and R&D capacity. Those with experience in North America are preferred.
Pingduoduo operates in a similar way to Shein, the fast-fashion brand, of which several senior employees had already been poached.
