On August 1, the Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC) that the six test C919 have finished all tasks and the program has entered the final stage of certification, expected by the end of September.
The C919 is a large civil jet aircraft developed by China with independent intellectual property rights. It has 158-168 seats and a range of 4,075-5,555 kilometers. COMAC has taken 815 orders from 28 customers.
In May 2017, the C919 made its maiden flight in Shanghai.
