You and Me had witnessed the opening of the Olympic Games in 2008 which is a song from Liu Huan and Sarah Brightman and has been popular both home and abroad for a long time. For the foreign friends, the lyrics maybe hard to understand, but everyone of them could feel the friendly greetings from China conveyed by the beautiful melodies.

Music is the common language of the world which can fully express the song by the rhythms, melodies and the singer’s emotion, and this is the wonder where music lies. We can say that music is the easiest and the most understandable culture to be spread. The live music is a challenge to the basic skills of a singer, but it’s the most appealing way of spreading music.

“Being on stage is like real life to me, it’s the complete opposite. I live when I sing on the stage” a beautiful singer from Italy Eleonora said. She grew up in Italy and started singing , writing songs, and performing on different stages when she was only 6 years old. In this process she had been singing with a lot of musicians from all over the world and that’s where her explosive stage infectivity came from.
3年前，Eleonora来到了中国，并给自己起了个中文名——小柔。她如此快地适应中国的生活，得益于在大学里结识的朋友和老师。在她眼中，意大利人和中国人有很多相似点，作为一个生活在中国的意大利人，她希望能通过音乐，引起两国人民心灵的深度共鸣。
Three years ago, Eleonora came to China and named herself Xiao Rou. She got used to China in short time, which was benefited from her friends and teachers in university. In her eyes, there are a lot in common between the Italian and the Chinese. As an Italian who has been living in China, she hopes to resonate these two countries’ souls deep in heart.
中国是音乐的国度，从传统的戏曲到如今的说唱，形式的多样化也吸引着越来越多的外国人来到中国。不管是哪个国家亦或是哪种肤色的人，不分语言，也不分贫富，音乐是这个世界给所有人共同的礼物。
China is a nation of music, and different patterns are all attracting the world from the traditional opera to the modern rap. No matter which country or what color of their skins, no matter rich or poor, music is the common gift to people in this world.
歌唱，最重要的并不是技巧，更需要演唱者用心，用情，用生命去感悟与演唱。当我们遇到了这样一位歌者的时候，不要困步于语言，而是尽情的感受音乐深处灵魂与思绪的无限延伸。
As for singing, what matters isn’t about the technique, but singing with heart, with emotion, and with inspiration. When we encounter a singer like this, never limited by the language, but to enjoy the endless extension of heart and soul.
