Chinese electric vehicle maker Li Auto unveiled its second model L9 on Tuesday. Priced at 459,800 yuan (US$68,464), the founder of Li Auto Its founder LI Xiang said L9 is “the best SUV one can get under 5 million yuan.”
Li L9 is open for reservation starting Wednesday and will arrive at all Li Auto retail stores nationwide by July 1, with test drives available from July 16. Delivery will commence by the end of August 2022.
Shares of Li Auto jumped as much as 12 percent to HKD 154 (132 yuan) on Wednesday, a record high since the company hit the HKEX in August last year.
