ZHOU Houjian, 65, has stepped down as chairman of Hisense, with vice-chairman LIN Lan taking over.
Zhou worked for Hisense for the electronics manufacturer for 40 years, 30 of them as chairman.
Only one year younger than Zhou, Lin joined Hisense in 2006 to develop overseas markets.
In 2021, Hisense’s sales revenue was 175 billion yuan (US$30 billion), up 24 percent. Overseas revenue was around 70 billion yuan.
