William Yu has been appointed president of Honeywell China. Yu, 57, was first appointed to the post in 2018 but soon moved to Honeywell HQ in the US.
Yu said his first task is to deal with the supply chain problem. Honeywell China’s revenue grew last year, but supply chain problems affected several businesses. He plans to manufacture more products in China. “Over 50 of our products in China are domestically made, but we can do better,” Yu said.
Honeywell’s main businesses are in aerospace, construction, and safety.
