Jidu Auto, the electric vehicle (EV) venture between search engine Baidu and carmaker Geely Holdings Group, said on January 26 that it had raised nearly US$400 million (2.6 billion yuan) in its latest funding round.
Less than a year in existence, Jidu has promised mass-produced vehicles by 2023.
