Didi Zhitong, a subsidiary corporation of China’s ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing, founded a new company this week. Its registered capital is 10 million yuan (USD 1.44 million). The business scope of the company covers the sales of second-hand cars and electronic components, freight transport, and management of batteries and charging poles for electric cars. Open data suggested that the president of Didi Zhitong is LIU Xianghong. Liu joined Didi in 2017 and is now the chief scientist of Didi’s intelligent transportation department.
