China's total yuan loans rose 6.6% year on year to 270.39 trillion yuan (US$38 trillion) by the end of the third quarter, with new lending reaching 14.75 trillion yuan in the first nine months, the People's Bank of China said on Friday.
Corporate loans grew 8.2% to 184.3 trillion yuan, led by medium- and long-term loans up 7.8%. Inclusive small-business loans jumped 12.2% to 36.1 trillion yuan, and green credit climbed 17.5% to 43.5 trillion yuan.
Real estate lending was little changed at 52.8 trillion yuan, down 0.1% from a year earlier, while tech-focused SME loans rose 22.3%. Agricultural loans increased 6.8% to 53.4 trillion yuan, and household consumption loans excluding mortgages gained 4.2% to 21.3 trillion yuan.
