On SAIC Volkswagen's 40th anniversary, SAIC Motor and Volkswagen Group signed an agreement in Shanghai to extend their joint venture, further strengthening their long-term partnership. The collaboration will now continue through 2040.
SAIC Volkswagen is China's first passenger car joint venture. This is the second time the partnership has been renewed, bringing the total duration of the collaboration to 55 years.
