The redevelopment of Yaotai, a urban village in downtown Guangzhou’s Yuexiu District, will break ground next month, said the government of city.
It will be the biggest urban village transformation for Yuexiu, a Consortium formed by five local state-owned enterprises will be in charge of the project, which will take four years and cost 25 billion yuan (US$3.5 billion).
