Changan Automobile and Huawei have already established strategic cooperation, with in-depth collaborations in EV marques Shenlan and Avatr, but rumors circulating online about Changan acquiring Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution Business Unit are false, the automaker said on Friday.
Previously, there were online rumors that Changan would invest 300 billion yuan (US$42.28 billion) in Huawei's Car BU, following the news, Changan's stock price hit the daily limit high.
