Maersk names Silvia Ding as the new president for Greater China

On November 8th, A.P. Moller - Maersk announced the appointment of Silvia Ding, the current Chief Transformation Officer, as the new president for Greater China, effective January 1st, 2024. Ding will succeed WU Bingqing in the role. Ding joined Maersk in 1999 and has held various senior management positions in China and Southeast Asia. In 2017, she was transferred to the Copenhagen headquarters to serve as the  global head of Ocean Products for Maersk Line.
