Apple announced its fourth-quarter earnings for its 2023 fiscal year and revenue has fallen again, down 1 percent YoY to US$89.5 billion (650 billion yuan).
The iPhone continues to be Apple's major revenue driver, bringing in US$43.8 billion in the quarter, 3 percent more than last year.
Beyond the iPhone, revenue from other hardware lines dropped. Mac revenue fell by US$4 billion YoY to US$7.6 billion, iPad revenue by US$ billion, and wearables by half a billion.
China saw a net sales decline of 2.5 percent during the fourth quarter to US billion.
iPhone sales remain relatively strong, and this revenue decline is partly due to the weak performance in other business segments and exchange rate fluctuation.
Apple's services business was worth US$22.3 billion, up 16 percent.
Earnings per share for the quarter showed double-digit growth with nearly US$25 billion paid in dividends. Apple shares fell over 3 percent after the financial report.
