Xpeng initiates anti-corruption measures with procurement head suspended

On October 9, Chinese EV startup Xpeng Motors announced the suspension of LI Feng, its head of procurement, with several employees cooperating in the investigation.

The company said that this action is part of its anti-corruption measures. The incident involves a small number of individuals and will not affect business or production.

This internal restructuring is part of Xpeng’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations. Earlier this year, WANG Fengying, formerly of Great Wall Motors, took on the role of CEO, focusing on product planning, matrix, and sales systems. She has initiated reforms, including budget reductions and anti-corruption efforts.
