Luxshare Precision, an Apple supplier for over 12 years, is stepping up collaboration with the phone maker.
Luxshare Precision's general manager WANG Laichun said the company's iPhone business has doubled over the past year.
In 2011, Luxshare Precision received its first order from Apple, with just 500 employees involved. Today, that figure is more than 340,000. Luxshare Precision recently expanded capacity through automation.
Apple's supply chain standards extend beyond product quality, encompassing rigorous environmental protection and corporate management criteria. Luxshare Precision is adopting clean energy with a rooftop photovoltaic system, and obtaining green certificates. The company has also enrolled in Apple's supplier employee development program to bolster its employees' personal competencies. To date, approximately 17,000 employees from the company have participated in the programs.
From its beginning, Luxshare has maintained a clear direction and commitment to collaboration with industry leaders and is well-equipped for sustained growth and success.
