On the main forum of the 2023 Inclusion Conference on the Bund, Eric Jing, chairman and CEO of Ant Group shared his thoughts on AI and his plans for the company.

Much like the iPhone revolutionized the smartphone industry, the advent of large language models (LLMs) will create ripples throughout the artificial intelligence sector. One of the immediate impacts will be on businesses, with roles such as marketing, sales, and operations gradually being replaced by AI.

While this presents challenges, it also brings opportunities. Technologies like privacy-preserving computation (PPC), blockchain, and digital currencies will see further enhancements with the development of AI.

For instance, as awareness of privacy protection and security compliance grows, PPC will become more prominent. Similarly, blockchain advancements will boost the adoption of digital currencies.

In the realm of LLMs, Ant Group uses a full-stack self-development approach, building foundation models and creating industry-specific offspring.
